The latest installment of my occasional series I call Vermont Weather on YouTube is a great trip down memory lane. Any native Vermonter can remember back a couple decades or more can recall Stuart Hall, the great, long running weather forecaster for WCAX-TV.Hall retired in 1990. I relied on him as a young weather geek growing up in West Rutland. Somebody posted four videos of him on YouTube recently. To whoever did that, thank you. Here's one of the videos. Thank you, Stuart was the best. Seeing him report the weather forecast live in-studio during a school field trip is a very fond memory. He even gave me a tear-off weather map marked-up with isobars and temperatures which I treasured. Technology sure has changed. He is missed.
